Men are not built to be with one woman - 2baba
Singer 2Baba has claimed that men are biologically incapable of being sexually faithful to one woman.
In a recent interview with media personality Nedu, 2Baba argued that while a man can genuinely love one woman, his biological makeup makes it difficult to remain sexually committed to her alone.
“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman. Heart and love dey with one woman. But sexually, e dey impossible for man. It is the biology of man. And anybody wey wan follow me argue am, fine. Man fit love one woman die, but when it comes to that sexual satisfaction it’s had. Dey seed to plenty, you no fit drop am for one woman….”, he said.
2Baba emphasised that this behaviour is not a matter of personal choice but a reflection of what he believes to be natural male instincts.
The singer’s comments have reignited conversations around his own complex marital history.
He married actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia in 2012 after a long and often turbulent relationship that drew widespread media attention.
Despite having two children together, the couple’s marriage has been plagued by reports of infidelity and internal conflict.
Both 2Baba and Annie have publicly acknowledged the challenges in their relationship over the years.
Earlier in 2025, 2Baba confirmed their separation and announced plans for a divorce.
The announcement coincided with rumors linking him to Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker from Edo State, who is speculated to be his new romantic partner.
