NRS Chairman Defends Tinubu's Simple Daily Routine During Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Adedeji countered claims of government excess by describing Tinubu's routine: trekking from home to office without a convoy, skipping international travel for three months, and reviewing documents often. He highlighted economic wins, like monthly revenue sharing jumping from ₦700 billion in 2023 to ₦4.5 trillion now—a 530% rise—crediting fuel subsidy removal for avoiding a ₦53 trillion bill and naira crash. Reactions online split between praising the president's frugality and pushing for transparency on wider spending by officials.
