APC Names Opposition Governors to Tinubu's 2027 Campaign Council The All Progressives Congress released a revised list for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign council, appointing Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke as Osun coordinator, Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his state, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for Rivers and the FCT. All 32 APC governors serve as state coordinators, with Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu in senior roles; the council launches Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Supporters hail it as coalition-building across five parties, while critics like singer Davido call APC support in Osun an 'enemy of progress.' Analysts view the moves as Tinubu’s bid to broaden his base ahead of the 2027 vote.
