From the beginning I disagreed with the choice of Dele Alake as minister (Solid minerals) because he is a media person who knows next to nothing about mining. However today, he knows more about mining than myself; he talks like a mining engineer. He's succeeding as a minister because he learnt a lot from his boss (Tinubu), shared in his visions and directions. Invariably, through the support we got from Mr President, we have built the biggest lithium processing plant, not only in Nigeria but in the whole of Africa and we have to give the credit to the president for that. We no longer have to borrow from banks to finance our projects as a result of the multiple revenue streams from our internal economic activities, federal grants and monthly budgetary allocations.
