EFCC UNCOVERS MULTIMILLION-NAIRA ILLEGAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN OGERE, OGUN STATE The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has uncovered a multimillion-naira illegal industrial complex in Ogere, Ogun State, describing it as a centre of massive economic sabotage. The Commission's Chairman, accompanied by top officials, inspected the illegal facility and described the operation as part of efforts to tackle economic sabotage. The EFCC says the operation, code-named “Sovereign Wealth”, is aimed at reclaiming the nation's resources from exploiters involved in illegal mining, refining and distillation.
