Ayekooto @DeeOneAyekooto Caveat Emptor: Laolu Akande still pained Tinubu was picked NOT Osinbajo as President I have been following Laolu Akande’s consistent attacks on the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila right from the moment Osinbajo lost out in his Presidential bid in 2022, the Osinbajo circle are still in pain that Gbaja, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives, supervised the electoral act amendment that gave room for DIRECT PRIMARY as one of the options to be adopted by political parties in picking their presidential and other candidates for general elections. Osinbajo and the Aso Rock Villa cabals wanted to use the INDIRECT MODE OF PRIMARY to hit Asiwaju in the 2022 presidential primaries, Gbaja as Speaker used power of the Gavel to foil their plan and added DIRECT PRIMARY as one of the options. Although, the APC eventually opted for Indirect Primaries, Bola Tinubu still beat Osinbajo and others in that primary election with a landslide despite the widely publicized allegations of hard currency 💵 bribery of delegates especially in Oyo State involving the then VP Osinbajo. When Laolu Akande was working as Osinbajo’s Media Aide, Tunde Sabiu was President Buhari’s Principal Private Secretary and Abbar Kyari of blessed memory was Chief of Staff. Did Buhari bring Tunde Sabiu because late Abba Kyari was a failure? How come this former Villa Staff now sees the appointment of a PPS as failure of the CoS ? Is Laolu not a hypocrite? Just recently, Without any investigation or probe, Akande used his “inside sources” and guests on his TV anchored programme to promote call for Gbaja’s removal when the fake DG of PFiPc mentioned Gbaja’s name, he said Gbajabiamila should step aside immediately. The result of all probes and investigations eventually revealed that Gbajabiamila is absolutely innocent. But in 2018 when the National Assembly Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness indicted Vice President Osinbajo in its report, accusing him of illegally approving N5.8 billion North East Intervention Fund which the lawmakers said was mismanaged by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Osinbajo was NOT asked to resign by Laolu without further investigation. Is Laolu not a hypocrite? ChannelsTV should watch out for who is using “inside sources” program to hit political opponents of his Boss- Osinbajo The same way President Buhari had a Principal Private Secretary Tunde Sabiu side by side a Chief of Staff, President Tinubu has done same with HMO and Gbaja , and both are working together in harmony as against the wishes of the likes of Laolu. Lastly but ridiculously too, he said ‘Tinubu has no strong team like Osinbajo or Fashola anymore’, may be the team will be stronger when Laolu also joins the presidential team again. Oh, Sorry he already said he cannot work in a Muslim-muslim system. May God bless we Christians supporting PBAT.
